Maryland Area

Old Town Editions works with Maryland area clients ranging from the DC area to Annapolis, the Eastern Shore to Baltimore, and Hyattsville to Frederick. We have been printing for Maryland artists, photographers, galleries and museums for over 20 years. You may have seen our prints at Strathmore in Bethesda. We have also collaborated with muralist William Cochran in photographing his “Cornerstone” mural at the Rockville Town Center. We enjoy working with the Maryland art community and hope to engage in more outreach and educational events soon.  We are just over the Maryland/Virginia border, no more than an hour’s reach of most of Maryland.

We offer educational talks about the giclee process and its benefits to artist organizations located in and around the Washington DC area.  We have held Giclee talks in the past at the VisArts Center in Rockville and the Yellow Barn Studio in Glen Echo, among many others. Please inquire about these talks for your artist organization today.

We work hard to help guide our artists and photographers to benefit as much as possible from digital printmaking. Most of the time artists and photographers do not even know all of ways digital printmaking can benefit their career.  We devote our time, expertise, and advice equally to every client we work with to review these benefits and develop a specific strategy that leverages these best for your career. Our clients range from museums and professional artists to hobbyists just starting their art career.  We will spend whatever time it takes to educate you about the process and to develop strategies that will help you be a success. Because, obviously, if you make print sales we are making prints.  This is good for all of us. We consider every client we work with a business partner and look forward to a long term and mutually fruitful relationship.  Come in and join the other 1,000 plus artists we already work with.
